A Statement from SHE+ on the CDC’s Removal of Life-Saving Information

Just the Tips with Nicole is owned by Nicole McAllister. As a distributor with Pure Romance, I strongly support the SHE+ Foundation - a non-profit organization that focuses on women's sexual health. Here is their latest statement regarding the CDC's information removal. I wanted to share this in case it could help any of you seeking information.
The SHE+ Foundation unequivocally rejects the removal of life-saving information from federal government websites. On Friday, January 31st, 2025 - several government datasets went offline. Among them were large-scale national health surveys, and data dashboards that inform research, policy making, and public health.
As of Sunday, February 2nd, 2025 - some of the landing pages had come back online - with the notice below:
The removal of information from the Center for Disease Control’s website, as well as restriction of access to datasets, is in complete misalignment with the mission of the SHE+ Foundation.
The CDC’s Associate Director for Science, Sam Posner, directed employees in an email to remove research papers, “that promote or inculcate gender ideology, or that have been flagged for as at risk for such.” Missing from the site includes life-saving information about members of the LGBTQIA+ community, information about HIV & AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases, social determinants of health, contraception, and health disparities.
The SHE+ Foundation remains committed to our mission “to advance women's sexual health and well-being through groundbreaking research, comprehensive education, and unwavering support. We strive to eradicate stigma, empower women with knowledge, and ensure equitable access to quality healthcare for all, regardless of socioeconomic status, race, or geography.”
