I don't share everything on social media. Some things are just more fun when they're tucked away for the people who actually open my emails and hang out with me in this little corner of the internet.

So, in honor of your excellent decision-making skills, here are a few of my favorite ways to add a little more fun to everyday life. No fancy plans required.

Idea #1: The "We'll Be Right Back" Errand

Need to run to Target? Amazing. Need milk? Perfect.

Turn a boring errand into a tiny adventure. Hold hands. Flirt like you're on a first date. Sit in the parking lot for an extra five minutes before going home. Sometimes the anticipation is the whole point.

Bonus points if one of you says, "We probably shouldn't..." 😉

Idea #2: The Lights Out Early Challenge

Tonight's challenge:

Put the phones away an hour earlier than usual.

No scrolling. No emails. No doomscrolling the news. Just a little extra time for conversation, cuddles, massage, laughter, or whatever sounds good to both of you.

It's amazing what happens when we give ourselves permission to slow down.

Idea #3: The Solo Self-Care Upgrade

If you're flying solo tonight, I have homework for you too.

Take the long shower.
Use the fancy products.
Put on the playlist.
Light the candle.
Lock the door.

The goal isn't productivity. The goal is feeling good in your own skin.

Idea #4: Ask the Question

Here's one of my favorite questions to ask:

"What's one thing you've been curious to try but haven't mentioned yet?"

No judgment. No pressure. Just curiosity.

Sometimes the best conversations start with permission.
