The Nightstand Essentials

The simple setup that actually gets used
There is something I love and hate about Valentine’s Day. I love that it puts love and intimacy front and center, but I do not love the pressure and expectations that can come with it.
Instead of buying something for one night, I would much rather you have something for every night. The right products make it easier to say yes to intimacy when the moment shows up.
If your bedside drawer is currently a chaotic mix of “maybe someday” and a charger from 2019, it is time for a reset. That is not romantic, and it definitely is not sexy. It is just stressful.
Let’s fix it!
Here is the short list of nightstand essentials people actually use. These are the things that make intimacy feel smoother, more comfortable, and way more fun.
1. A really good lube
This is non-negotiable.
Lube is not only for when something is wrong. It is a comfort upgrade, a pleasure upgrade, and honestly, a confidence upgrade. Less friction means more comfort, more glide means more options, and better sensations mean a better experience.
If intimacy has ever felt dry, uncomfortable, or like too much effort, this is the first place to start.
My go-to is a Water-Based Lubricant. It is lightweight, long lasting, and works beautifully with both toys and bodies.
Pro tip: Keep it within arm’s reach so you do not have to break the moment to go searching for it. Applying a little before things start can also help your body ease into the mood.
2. A toy safe cleaner
Clean up should not feel like a chore. A quick spray or foam makes it easy to keep things fresh before and after, especially if you are celebrating more than once. When cleanup is simple, you are far more likely to actually use your products.
I recommend this Cleansing Mist because it is gentle, effective, and made specifically for intimate items.
3. One go-to vibrator
You do not need a whole collection. I mean, I think you do, but for now, you just need one reliable favorite that works solo or partnered and does not require a manual the size of a novel.
For her, I love the Adventurer Curve. It is the powerful air tech we love, versatile with the g-spot stimulation, and easy to grab and go.
For him, the Total Package is a favorite because of the sucking, thrusting, warming self-play technology.
For both, the Spring Fling is playful, flexible, and great for sharing.
Pro tip: Choose something you can grab and use in under ten seconds. Setting a reminder to charge it the morning of is also a smart move. Charging a backup never hurts either.
4. A warming or arousal style enhancer
This is for when you want a little extra “oh hello” energy. Enhancers can increase sensitivity, speed up response time, and make everything feel more intentional without much effort.
Always try it first so you know what to expect. Some formulas can be intense, and you want to be familiar with the sensation ahead of time. If you are sensitive or unsure which one to choose, message me and I will help you pick.
5. A tiny cleanup stash
This one is not glamorous, but it is extremely effective.
Having a soft towel and a few basics ready means less mess stress and more staying in the moment.
I recommend Vaginal Wipes for quick clean up and refresh.
A waterproof throw is also a game changer for protecting your sheets without killing the vibe.
6. The thing that is not in the drawer
The hottest thing you cannot physically reach for is communication, but it still needs to be part of the experience.
Try one of these:
“Do you want slow, playful, or spicy tonight?”
“Comfort mode or try something new mode?”
“More touch or more talking?”
Asking is sexy. Guessing is exhausting.
Bottom line
Your bedside drawer should make intimacy feel easy, not like a scavenger hunt.
